TCMD.exe shortcut Key issue

Just installed v36 and it is running fine. But one of the things I usually do is set a shortcut key for both TCC.exe and TCMD.exe. So for tcc it's ctrl+shift+s and that works fine. Problem is TCMD.exe it's set to ctrl+alt+shift+s and when you use it the window pops up for a second then closes. It runs fine from the shortcut when clicked by the mouse, but just not the keyboard shortcut key. Any Ideas? I don't think I have ever had an issue like this before. BTW Windows 10 not 11.
 
start menu-> take command 36 -> take command 36 (shortcut) Mouse Right Click -> more -> open file location
Then right click the Take Command 36 short cut -> properties
In the dialog Box go to the shortcut key box and press ctrl+shift+alt+s
select apply then ok
 
Ok this seems to have solved itself when I reinstalled v36 again on top of itself. I just don't understand why lol.
 
I'm pretty sure that the shortcut keys in the .LNK files are handled by Windows, not Take Command.
 
Yes the shortcut keys are handled by windows, but it was just a strange thing that only (at the time) affected the tcmd.exe shortcut. It did run but it would open the interface then before the command line would show it would close, but fine when I used the mouse on start menu item. No crash or anything in the event log so I was kind of stumped. Same thing after a reboot. It was just a last ditch try of reinstalling on top of the already installed program that fixed it so I don't really know what happened that fixed it. A ghost in the machine maybe. :eek::smile:
