OK, the first of those was because I had fewer than 80 columns. Is that restriction necessary? It's inconvenient.

There are several other threads about the wrapping issue. It has been fixed in build 71.

Yes, the 80 columns restriction is necessary; this has been discussed numerous times previously. Any console app that tries to address the screen (instead of just writing to STDOUT) will fail if the console is < 80 columns. (Many will crash; others will display garbage.)

Nobody has ever come up with a compelling reason why they need to have < 80 columns, other than "because I wanted to".
