I could not update TCMD to v36.00.32 with Everything and received the following error:

... which meany Everything64.exe not found

I had to cancel the Everything installation and now, it's no more available.

PS: After I ran the installer again, it's now there again and updated - seems all good now!

PPS: Thanks very much for updating, Rex! Maybe soon the current ES v1.1.0.37 yet?

Oh no, it seems that's now ALWAYS the case. I trieed to update TC to v36.00.33 and could not install everything. The same error appeared (see above).

And then, Everything was missed, and I had to reinstall TC a 2nd time again.

There is something really no more good in the installer! That's the case since v36.00.32 (resp. Everything v1.5.1408).

PS: I made a reboot now, will see if that was necessary (here). Also, I had ended the Everything GUI (not the service) the last two times before I made TC updates (but I think thats not related) ...

The problem remains and it's really only since Everything v1.5.1408 ... weird ...

MAYBE it has something to do with the new name of everything EXE, which is now everything.exe but in TC everything64.exe and/or with a the local setting (de_ch here) ...

However, since update from Everything v1.5.1404 to v1.5.1408 that problem exists here ... something has definitely changed ...

PS: I know that the original name change to Everything.exe in voidtools was earlier (even earlier than in 1404) ... nevertheless it could have to do with that.

Still that problem ... maybe it begins here:

The installer (while update) can't end the following:

Hi David,

I tried that already, it's better, yep - but that still won't terminate the process in screenshot above. So, I have to kill that manually before updating.

So or so, the Error in my initial posting remains! I have always to cancel the installer, and restart it, THEN it's ok with Everything.

As I said, that error begun with 1408 ...

Not reproducible here. The Everything service is shut down automatically when the installer runs.

Do you get a popup saying that the installer needs to shut down Everything before continuing?

The Everything installer is from VoidTools, so you might want to ask them if they know what's happening.

If I all Everything processes terminate before. Then no popup appears. Just the error (screenshot).
