XDIR anomalies

XDIR reminds me of the PC Magazine Utility DR.COM

Yes, I have been using the 16-bit DR.COM in TCC on Windows 10.

A few notes about XDIR...

Pressing ? when focused on a file does not display a messagebox with file information (pathname, description, size, create / access / last write date & time).

Pressing the i key displays the messagebox with file information.

Both keys are set in OPTION;

Selecting stocks.ini and pressing Ctrl-C puts the selected file on the clipboard;
"R:\Stocks.ini"

Selecting test.btm and pressing Ctrl-Shift-C appends, and appends, the selected file to the clipboard;
"R:\Stocks.ini""R:\Stocks.ini" "R:\test.btm"

The help says that pressing the E key can edit the file with TCEdit,

but OPTION says Ctrl-E is the key to press to edit the file with TCEdit.

After editing a file, and exiting TCEdit,
I'm back at the XDIR screen, but the filesize of the file that I just edited with TCEdit is not correct.
Pressing i displays the correct filesize.

Exiting XDIR, then launching XDIR again shows the correct file size.

I will post any other anomolies if I encounter more.

RTL bug with shifted non-alpha / non-special keys. Fixed for the next build.

"R:\Stocks.ini""R:\Stocks.ini" "R:\test.btm"

Fixed in the next build.

WAD. (And you're not "back at the XDIR screen" - you never left it. The editing is asynchronous; XDIR is still running and doesn't know / care about what TCEdit is doing.)

To catch something like this would require installing a directory monitor and rewriting the XDIR content continually, which would be (1) slow, (2) really confusing to the user if the selection changed, and (3) make XDIR impossible to use in a directory with continually changing content. (Trying to select something when the number of files / directories is changing is ... challenging.)
