How to? How get white background in new ConPTY tab?

Just installed version 36. Using ConPTY. My colors are black foreground on white background. This is set in the "Tabs" tab in Take Command Options and also in the "Windows" tab of TCC Options.

When I start a new TCC tab in Take Command, the text is black on white, but the part of the window where there is no text is black. How do I make the background white?

If I press Enter until a line scrolls off the top, the new line at the bottom is white all across the window.

With TCMD 36 using ConPty you can do quite a bit with color schemes. The BTM attached should instantly apply any of (the latest preview) WT's 16 color schemes. It works like this.

v:\theme_bin> wtcolors.btm /?
WTCOLORS.BTM /L - list the color schemes
WTCOLORS.BTM N [/C] - apply color scheme N
/C - clear everything; default: clear current to end of display
0 <= N <= 16

I could put cls in my tcstart.btm, but is that really necessary?

Are you setting your TCMD tab colors using the ConPTY color buttons in the Take Command configuration / Tabs dialog? If I set white BG & black FG there, starting a new tab has the entire window in white.

Yes, I have that in my start.btm with ...

call wtcolors.btm 0 /C

And no, that shouldn't be necessary, but I had problems to find a good combination for me and since I have campbell in Windows Terminal, that was an easy decision ...

I missed that there were separate colors for ConPTY. That works.
