TCMD11: Maximum Description Length

The help file for the Advanced tab of the Take Command Configuration
screen (file iniadvanceddlg_tc.htm) says that the maximum setting for
the length of a description is 511 characters. However, the dialog
accepts values larger than that. In fact, the value in my configuration,
inherited from previous versions of Take Command, is 512.

Is the limit really 511? If so, what happens when a larger value is
entered? I see that my ini file has the value 512.

The maximum description length is 511 characters + the terminating null = 512 characters.
