When stepping through code, the cursor moves down the screen until at the bottom, and only then starts scrolling the code up. That means you're losing overview and have to manually scroll to provide context.

I would like to see an option that automatically vertically centres the current line (or does its best to do so if the file is short, etc) or, even more advanced, if it tries to maintain the n-th screenline from the top.

I'd prefer a third parts scroll.
I.e. if a cursor within the two top thirds it just move down, when it reach lower third, it start scrolling up.
