While in a console session (just started happening) history popup leaves a vertical line behind
changing the font to the ugly raster styled fonts removes the problem. I'm 100% sure I had always used Lucida Console
because of the ugliness' of the raster styles.

This is (always) caused by a problem with the video card driver. Make
sure you have the latest driver version.
