Are these two functions the same?

Reading the help file it would appear that the built-in functions @ISDIGIT and @DIGITS are identical, which leads me to ask

• Am I correct, are they identical?

and

• If they are identical, is one of them deprecated or are they just synonyms (like RD and RMDIR)?

They are the same. @DIGITS is the old version; when the @ISxxx functions were added, some users requested that an @ISDIGITS function be added for completeness.
