Setup - remove older versions?

Hi

I get confused by the offer of the installer to remove older version of Take Command.

By older versions does it mean same major version, remove older minor version (which, yes, I do want, that is okay)?
Or does it mean remove older major versions (which I most certainly do not want)? I have 4NT8.02 installed and I dont want that removed.

Thanks

BEWARE! AFAIK it means both older builds of the current version AND older
versions. That is, if you have two separate builds of the current version
installed (which makes sense only if you want to do regression testing for
each new build, something very few of us bother with), both will be gone.
Personally, I don't use the installer for new builds, I use a method
completely disavowed by JPsoft... but it overwrites only those files that
are newer in the new build.

Thanks.
I always opt for side-by-side installation as I am not sure what the other does.

It means older major versions. Minor versions will always be overwritten
unless you specify a different installation directory.
