(v26b28) Below, before/after pressing the delete button.

As a possible hint as to what's wrong, note how the displacements (one selected line from the previous one) are off by 1 when the deleting takes place.

Selected: lines 1 ... 2 (+1) ... 4 (+2) ... 7 (+3) ... 11 (+4)
Deleted: lines 1 ... 3 (+2) ... 6 (+3) ... 10 (+4) ...15 (+5)

These could be related. I have history wrapping off but if I select the last two commands in the popup and delete them, the popup wraps to the beginning.

And if I select the last MORE_THAN_2 and press delete (which I did 3 times below) I get a new prompt on the same line and after the popup loses/regains focus, it's display is corrupted. (The commands are actually deleted.)

Fixed in build 29 (already uploaded).
Nice! One more nit. Open the Command history (I'm at the bottom, most recent). I type something in the find box and erase what I typed. Now I'm at the top (oldest).

And that guess is long gone after you've entered any characters in the search box.
And when you empty the search box ... back to the original state seems reasonable to me.

There is no "original state". Emptying the search box != an Undo.
Original state = state of popup when first opened

That's what I think most users would prefer.

Too much said about it already.
