Is there a way to modify the 16 colors of the console?

Most are ok, but the BLUE is ridiculously dark.

The color table for all consoles is here:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console

If you have saved any special settings for TCC then there will also be a subkey
    particular to TCC; for example,

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\d:_tc11_tcc.exe

That key does not have a color table but you can put one there.

You can also customize a shortcut (Properties\Colors). Those will be saved in,
    for example,

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\Shortcut to tcc.exe

I missed the most direct way. Console_control_icon\Properties\Colors. If you
say so, changes there will be saved in, for example,

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\d:_tc11_tcc.exe
