my system is:

TCC 17.00.35 Windows 8.1 [Version 6.3.9600]
TCC Build 35 Windows 8.1 Build 9600

my alias:
cpuw is an alias : *copy /A: /B /D /E /F /G /H /J /O:n /S /UF /W /Y /Z /[!Thumbs.db]

my plugins:
Say: say

my drives:
X:\ X_Drive NTFS Fixed disk
V:\ Public NTFS Remote (network) drive

command I run:
cpuw x:\rebuild\ v:\rebuild\

what happens:
I managed to see 1 file copied before TCC disappears (crashes) (This works fine in v16)

Try it with /Nnt and let me know if that changes the behavior.

running my command like this:
cpuw /Nnt x:\rebuild\ v:\rebuild\

gives the same result crash

Do you see a crash dialog at all? If you're getting the Windows crash dialog (because the crash is happening in Windows, not TCC) then you won't get a TCC.GPF. The GPF file is written to the same directory as your TCMD.INI.

Try thinning out your switches and see if you can isolate the trigger.

This is the smallest numbers of parameters that I can have to accomplish my task and it still crashes:

*copy /D /F /H /S /W /Nnt x:\rebuild\ v:\rebuild\

Once when I tested I saw a messages about one file being deleted on the target drive and the summary that there was one file deleted and then it crashed

this works just fine in v16

Try your COPY with build 38 (already uploaded). It has a workaround for a Windows bug that *might* be affecting you.

Perfect, great job, it's fixed now, just one thing doesn't seem to work the /E parameter should exclude the messages TCC: (Sys) There are no more files, but it doesn't, but otherwise, thanks for the fix, I'm ready to buy version 17
