I have noticed that on Windows 64 some applications, including TakeCommand, won't load icons from 32 bit exe files. In TakeCommand this means this means there are no icons displayed in Buttons and Tabs.

That's a Windows bug, and I don't know of any workaround. (Though you could
extract the icon yourself and tell TCMD to load the .ICO file instead of
extracting it from the .EXE.)
