Overtyping issue - i press the Insert key, help till press enter for new line in TCC

I have TCMD 17, i press the Insert key to prevent Overtyping, help till press enter for new line in TCC.

I tried option but it doesnt help, also uninstall not helped.

Might be a registry issue?

How can i solve this issue permanently?

I do not have TCMD 17 on my system, but with TCMD 24;

Type OPTION from the command line, and press ENTER

Overstrike is the default on my system. To change the behavior to your requirements, select Insert.

Now, when you press Enter, you will still be in Insert mode.

Is this the Option change that you indicated does not work for you?
