I use Forte Agent's newsreader and I saw a thread:

Indeed. There are NNTP proxies which let Agent receive RSS feeds.
Another one is http://www.methodize.org/nntprss/
The limits are in Agent's limited HTML capability.


There are proxies for a few web forums, but not for all. ISTM these
proxies exist where the forum provides support for this (such as
providing an XML feed). For example, http://communitybridge.codeplex.com/ .
Unlike with RSS, there are no NNTP proxies which work with all forums.
