Failure in TCMD Help with Favorites

I am running:

TCC 11.00.36 x64 Windows 7 [Version 6.1.7600]
TCC Build 36 Windows 7 Build 7600

I opened the help and tried to add topics to my favorites. When I click
on the "Add" button, nothing happens.

Are others seeing the same problem? Is it a Windows 7 issue, a 64-bit issue?

Here's a further twist on my problem with adding favorites to TCMD's
help: I am able to add the Overview topic. I've tried many other topics,
and only Overview can be added.

I have a second, identical computer (in terms of hardware and operating
system), but for reasons I don't fully remember, I installed the 32-bit
version of TCMD on it. The help system works fine on that computer.

If I now install the 32-bit version on this computer, will the
installation remove the 64-bit version and install the 32-bit version
over it? Will the configuration settings be retained?

Here's a further update. I added a TCC icon to my desktop and configured
it to launch TCC in administrator mode. I then opened a TCC standalone
window and tried the help system. I was now able to add favorites! And
now I can add them from TCMD also. Any explanation?

P.S. I tried the same approach with the CascadePoint installer, but it
still fails to install, just as before.

You'll have to ask Microsoft; it's their program!

You can have both versions installed on the same system. The configuration
file (TCMD.INI) will be shared between them unless you define a new one.
