I have obtained a Take Command upgrade from v8.02 to v11.

What I would like to achieve is
* keep v8.02 around for some time as a fallback as I use TC quite a lot
* install v11 to a new directory but initialized with the settings for v8.02 (as far as they go).

My idea would be to
* copy config files from the v8.02 directory to a new directory
* install v11 into this new directory.

Can anyone tell me if this works?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Yes. When you install v11 make sure you select the side-by-side
installation so v11 doesn't overwrite v8.
