Hello -- I know I am behind the curve here, but I just installed v19 on my v7 / 32bit os -- I see now that the file explorer is full window unlike it was in v18 of take -- can the file explorer be configured just to show the directory tree like it did in v18 so its side-by-side with the tcc.exe window?

Yes, undock it and drag it over to the left border. Then click on Organize / Layout and uncheck Navigation Pane.
